Weekly Communication Envelopes

An envelope will be sent to each family each week, with all important information regarding school functions, calendars, responsibilities and Home School Association information. This envelope is to be emptied by the parent, signed and returned to the homeroom teacher for the next week's notices. This system will eliminate excess use of paper and a more efficient means of parent notification of all school matters.

Appointments with School Personnel

Parents who wish to meet with school personnel must contact the office to arrange a mutually convenient meeting time. For the sake of good order within the school, parents may not approach staff members during the school day without arranging an appointment beforehand. Spontaneous visits to the classrooms are not allowed. All visitors, except at times of public functions, must explain their presence at the school office.

When parents come to school, they are expected to use the main entrance at all times. Items which children forget to bring, such as lunch, should be left at the secretary's office.

Children Bringing Cash to School

Money that is sent to school for a specific event or purpose should be placed in a sealed envelope and identified with the child's name and homeroom, the amount enclosed, and its purpose.
