First of all, thanks so much for visiting the the school's web site. If you've been here over the past year, you'll notice some changes in the look of the site. You can look forward to more changes over the coming months.

What's New?

SacredHeartSP.net on the iPhone

We've given the home page a facelift featuring a new layout, colors and font selection. The look reflects the bold, new and exciting direction in which the school, its students, faculty and staff are moving. This new look will serve as the visual foundation for all things digital for Sacred Heart School.

The site is now fully-compatible with the iPhone. It looks and functions the same way on the iPhone as it does on your computer. In addition, the site can be viewed on Internet Explorer 6, Internet Explorer 7, Internet Explorer 8, Safari 4.0 and Firefox 3.5 with tremendous ease.

We're also including the ability for you to add school events to your Google Calendar, a free web-based service offered by Google. If you have a Google account, you can add an event to your personal calendar complete with email reminders and the ability to invite other people to the event via email. If you do not have a Google account, we encourage you to sign up for free so that you can take advantage of the site's new interactive features.

Although the site is a work in progress, tell us what you think of the site so far.

So What's Next?

The revised look of the home page is only the first step. We plan on adding a number of user-friendly upgrades such as:

  • A re-organized navigation bar
  • Full-featured calendars and events
  • More photos
  • Better access to school news and updates
  • Twitter and Facebook integration
  • Better tracking of which parts of the site people visit most, and which they visit least.

When Will It Be Finished?

Our goal is to complete the site updates on a rolling basis with a final portions of the site finally launching January 31, 2010.
